Now For the record the one your going to purchase does have B5 cage coding on the other side but at that time (like 20 years ago) when all this was just setting in, B5 was only an injection molding company so gov required origin mark for quality control, and they supplied the skeleton. The mil issued B5 which differs by having cage code and civilian version is marked with a logo. As time passed LMT was replaced by B5 as the renewal bid was much cheaper. LMT was awarded the contract to produce due to strong relationships within the Government w/ LMT, minor changes were made like latch lever being serrated and tube O rings being made from red silicone, rather than standard black rubber. These were made in house at CRANE and as the demand grew they could no longer produce in volume.
